Job title: Data Governance Expert (m/w/d)

Duration of the project : 3 months + ggf. Verlängerung
Project volume: 519 hours - full time (40 hrs/week)
Location: Remote 3 days / On site in Munich 2 days ca.
Tasks:
- Establish, deploy & maintain data governance framework within the customer's organization
- Support Data Domain Expert(s) in the deployment of Data Governance activities within their domain (e.g. roles & responsibilities, business glossary, etc.)
- Implement an issue management and remediation process
- Monitor and report data governance initiatives deployment (e.g. KPIs)
- Create data governance / management policies and ensure consistency with laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR)
- Act as a bridge with Data Governance Group team and the business stakeholders from our organization
- Deployment of the data management framework
- Define design principles for the data governance activities (e.g. roles & responsibilities, data quality, etc.9
- Contribute to Data Committees
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and practical expertise in data governance activities and implementation
- Experience with business process design & issue management and remediation
- Experience with data integration, data quality, issue management & remediation
- Experience in Roles & Responsibilities deployment
- Practical expertise in Informatica, Hackolade
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks & compliance:
- Understanding of GDPR relation and impact on data management
- Experience as a Data Professional:
- Hands-on creation of data governance organization, policies & operational procedures and permanent controls etc.
- Able to drive projects, to define priorities and to set-up a data roadmap
- Strong analytical skills & rational thinking
- Proactive attitude mindset
- Strong presentation and communication skills towards both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Project management skills
- A team player that is customer-success-oriented
- Fluent in English & German
