Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the technical availability of systems and equipment
• Performing internal calibration and maintenance tasks
• Scheduling appointments with external maintenance companies and overseeing external maintenance and service work
• Coordinating and monitoring the performance of legally required inspections on systems subject to inspection and monitoring requirements
• Creating and maintaining maintenance documentation
• Performing maintenance tasks and minor repairs of all kinds, as well as providing skilled trade support upon request or arranging and supervising such services
• Troubleshooting for all measurement and control systems (automation technology)
• Monitoring and supervising support for the training of new employees in process technology
• Participation in active troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the implementation of measures to increase plant availability
• Participation in training and qualification activities
• Preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operating manuals for building management systems, including printouts for monitoring
• Compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection regulations
• Assuming on-call duty according to a rotating schedule

Qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship as an electronics technician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), plant maintenance technician (m/f/d), or a comparable apprenticeship (see descriptions in previous job postings)
• Several years of experience in the maintenance of technical systems, with a basic understanding of pharmaceutical technology
• Experience with Good Documentation Practices
• Knowledge of maintenance planning
• Fundamentals of validation/qualification (preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of PLC technology (Siemens S7)
• Knowledge of general Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), as well as CAD and SAP
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented and cooperative manner; strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and assertively while meeting tight deadlines
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and consistently
