About the Project
As part of a strategic compliance project at a leading biotech company, 39 BioProcess Systems Engineering products will be assessed for compliance with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act. The project involves the methodical analysis of existing processes, the preparation of comprehensive gap analyses, and the development of targeted measures to achieve CRA compliance.
This ambitious project requires in-depth expertise in cybersecurity risk assessment and compliance evaluation in accordance with the latest regulatory standards. The work is primarily remote (80%) with regular on-site visits in the greaterKassel area(20%).

- Project Start: August 24, 2026
- Project duration: 12 months with an option to extend through December 31, 2027
- Location:Kassel area (80% remote, 20% on-site)
- Workload: 5–20 days per month depending on the project phase | 25%–100% workload
- Project Languages: German and English
Your Responsibilities
- Creation and documentation of structured product risk assessments, including threat modeling, in accordance with CRA requirements
- Developing and applying a CRA-compliant assessment methodology based on established standards
- Preparation of documented risk assessments, including the identification and evaluation of relevant cybersecurity risks
- Deriving and documenting appropriate mitigation measures to address compliance and security gaps
- Developing consolidated action plans with prioritization and documentation of the status of implementation
- Preparation and presentation of analysis results for management and steering committees
Your Profile
- Comprehensive expertise in cybersecurity risk assessment and compliance evaluation
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant standards: prEN 40000-1-2, prEN 40000-1-4, prEN 50742, IEC 62443-3-2, prEN IEC 62443-3-3, prEN IEC 62443-4-2
- Proven experience in applying the Cyber Resilience Act and regulatory frameworks
- Expertise in threat modeling and structured risk analysis
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Experience in the biotech industry or a comparable regulated industry is a plus
