About the Project
We are seeking an experienced interim manager for the Group Accounting department at our publicly traded client company.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Preparing the individual financial statements of the German subsidiaries in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Responsibility for the notes to the consolidated financial statements and the summary management report
- Coordinating and supporting the annual audit as the point of contact for external auditors
- Optimizing and further developing accounting processes and reporting structures
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in group accounting with in-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS
- Practical expertise with IFRS 16, IFRS 15, IFRS 2, and IAS 12
- Proven experience in consolidated financial statements, consolidation, and external financial reporting
- Knowledge of Lucanet and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Excellent command of German and English, as well as the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Ideally, experience in external auditing and with publicly traded companies
