About the Position
On behalf of an innovative research company in the pharmaceutical industry, we are seeking an experienced financial accounting specialist. You will play a central role in the proper execution of all accounting processes and make a significant contribution to financial transparency and stability. Through precise work and a structured approach, you will support financial reporting, optimize internal processes, and make an important contribution to the successful implementation of research projects.

Responsibilities
- Responsibility for all accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Posting of bank statements, cash receipts, and credit card statements
- Reviewing and reimbursing travel expenses, as well as maintaining fixed asset accounting, including lease accounting
- Processing all payment transactions
- Active participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Account reconciliation, resolution of open items, and further development of accounting processes
Profile
- Successfully completed training as a financial accountant, general accountant, or tax clerk (m/f/d)
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting or at a tax firm
- Proficiency in the German Commercial Code (HGB); knowledge of IFRS is a plus
- Proficiency in DATEV or comparable systems, as well as MS Office
- Analytical thinking, strong aptitude for numbers, and a structured approach to work
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to work in a team and a strong sense of responsibility
