About the Position

As part of a direct placement, we are seeking an experienced accountant for an innovative medical technology company in Albstadt. You will be responsible for traditional accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and will become part of a dynamic team in a forward-looking industry.

Responsibilities

• Performing day-to-day financial accounting in accordance with HGB guidelines
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitoring and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Preparing for and assisting with the annual audit
• Preparing business analyses and reports
• Assistance with tax matters and reporting requirements

Profile

• Completed business apprenticeship or degree in accounting/controlling
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in the medical technology sector or related industries
• In-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and German accounting standards
• Proficiency in using common accounting software systems
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• A structured, meticulous approach to work and a strong aptitude for numbers
